These terms govern use of the Energy Freedom Today website and explain the role EFT plays in a homeowner’s energy decision.
Who we are
Energy Freedom Today (“EFT”) is a DBA/brand operated by Crimson Edge Ventures LLC. EFT provides marketing, education, consultative sales support, and provider-referral services. EFT is not a utility, government agency, tax adviser, law firm, lender, equipment manufacturer, engineering firm, or installation contractor.
Information, not a project agreement
Website content and preliminary conversations are general information. They are not final engineering, a production guarantee, a financing commitment, tax or legal advice, an appraisal, or permission to install. Any project depends on site review, licensed professionals, product availability, contract terms, permitting, inspection, utility approval, and other local requirements.
Results vary
Energy savings, solar production, export credits, remaining utility charges, outage backup duration, project timelines, incentive eligibility, financing terms, and property-value effects vary. They depend on factors including location, weather, shade, orientation, usage, equipment, degradation, maintenance, utility tariffs, program rules, ownership, financing, selected loads, local market conditions, and future changes. EFT does not promise a particular result unless it is stated in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized party.
Solar and outages
Residential solar panels alone generally shut down when the electrical grid fails. Backup capability requires compatible equipment and a properly configured system, commonly including storage and controls. No system can guarantee uninterrupted power in every event.
Incentives and taxes
Programs, tax credits, rebates, deadlines, funding, equipment requirements, and individual eligibility can change. Official program administrators and qualified tax or legal professionals should confirm current rules and your eligibility. EFT does not provide tax advice and does not represent itself as affiliated with a government program.
Provider referrals and compensation
EFT may receive compensation from participating providers for marketing, qualified leads, referrals, appointments, or completed transactions. A homeowner is not required to select a referred provider. Third-party providers are independent organizations responsible for their own proposals, representations, licensing, employees, subcontractors, engineering, installation, financing, warranties, service, privacy practices, and legal compliance.
Provider information
Reviews, licenses, market eligibility, service areas, and other provider information may change. EFT may use available information to evaluate fit but does not guarantee a provider’s performance or the completeness of third-party records. Homeowners should independently review the final provider, contract, scope, licenses, insurance, warranties, financing documents, cancellation rights, and complaint history.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or deceptive content, impersonate another person, or use site materials in a way that infringes rights or misrepresents affiliation with EFT.
Intellectual property
The EFT name, Freedom Arc mark, logo system, website design, copy, and original graphics are owned by Crimson Edge Ventures LLC or used under license. You may link to public pages and share official social assets in ways that accurately refer to EFT. You may not alter the logo, create confusingly similar branding, imply endorsement, or republish substantial content for commercial use without written permission.
Third-party links
Links to official agencies, utilities, providers, or other resources are offered for convenience. EFT does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.
Disclaimers and limitation
The site is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Crimson Edge Ventures LLC and EFT disclaim implied warranties that cannot be supported by a written project agreement. To the extent permitted by law, they are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from reliance on general site content or independent third-party conduct. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
